      .gif files basically aren’t used anywhere anymore, gif has just become a term for short videos without sound.

      For example imgur coverts all gifs and similar to .mp4 files since it’s a much more efficient format.

      Video formats like mp4 work I believe.

      It is fullsize in Firefox (at lemmy.world) but tiny on my Android app (Connect). How about you?
