  • If it’s any consolation, young men are seldom taught social skills, and often have difficulty with this kind of thing. Women are also taught not too be direct, as it’s too forward.

I’d say have a laugh about the absurdity of it, chalk it up as a learning experience, and move on.

  • Finding people annoying isn’t the problem, people will always be annoying. If you find yourself exploding over small stuff, it means your mental resources for suppressing and tolerating such things have been depleted. Changing how you think of people can help, but I would examine your lifestyle as a whole and figure out why you aren’t able to maintain said mental resources. You may not be resting enough, you may have other problems. It might be hard at first if you’ve not explored this stuff before, but it’s well worth it in the long run.

Don’t dismiss physical problems as a possibility either. Something that was surprising to me was blood pressure, apparently it was causing me to fly off the handle at times. Literally all it took was some minor weight loss and eating musli, and suddenly I’m fine again.

  • So this isn’t explicitly stated in the movie at all. It’s only reasonable to assume such a wound would cause issues.

Some might consider it a plot hole, I think that’s more reserved for when the movie goes again it’s own internal logic. I’m pretty generous with movies in these situations, either the movie is running on its own logic set, like cartoon logic or superhero logic, or maybe it’s just a detail that could be explained, but it’s more effort than it’s worth.

For this example, you could totally put a scene in there where Bruce covers the wound with batbandage, hits himself with adrenaline or something, but the result is pretty much the same, and the audience is probably not going to be too interested if you explain everything.

So it’s a bit yes you’re right, but also a bit just go along with it if you can think of any logical explanation.

  • Considering you’re already into card games, give Balatro a try. It’s got it’s basis in poker, but puts some extra spice on it that might interest you.

Chants of Sennar is also a strong recommend. It’s a puzzle game based around intuitive language translation, but also has a really strong story that keeps it interesting.
