There are literally multiple agencies that exist just to do that, and the current administration is pretty loud about their commitment to taking care of me. I’m confident it’s being handled.
Ok so if you’re an American you cannot count on social security to exist unless it can invest in the market. You have a massive glut of old people and fewer to replace them. That means your government cannot afford to maintain social security unless your population grows substantially and it is shrinking.
SO if you don’t plan on killing yourself you will either need to move to a nation whose population is growing OR you need to become a stock investor via mutual funds. You will have to become what you hate.
