Bro
Dickhead had to close the community. Probably didn’t like all the people showing up commenting “bro”.
There’s power in a union
I am not your bro pal
Listen here buddy
FYI piefed.social also has [email protected] which is more active and not run by atomicpoet.
A random mod being unreasonable doesn’t turn us all into reddit though. Unlike reddit, we can always open another comm with the same name and avoid the bastards.
Newbie here. What if the mod issues an instance-wide ban?
Lmao
Let’s make something clear. Admins are just people. There is no school you have to finish to be an admin. You don’t have to pass any logic or IQ tests. Most admins do not reason properly; in fact, they are terrible at it. They act like they have a master’s degree in community administration, but they don’t.
It’s already been a playground for mods with an agenda.
The good thing is that we can all start up alternate communities without the abuse. The problem is that it’s rare to find admins/mods that don’t abuse their power.
If duh to bro is what 0 is to 1, then

Bro…
bruh…
Always has been.
Fediverse can newer turn to redit, because of tehnical diferences.
If you have system that works in diferent way than you have something that is truly diferent.
Often you have system that is the same but they clame its diferent. But thats not the case with fediverse…
Apart from the silly ass mod abuse; yes!
Lemmy is the concentration of Reddit energy people.
“eVeRyOnE eLSe iS a SnOwFlAkE!”
Then watch as they try to police other people’s speech while using slurs and dog whistles…
So I just made a thing. [email protected]
I’ll get it looking better in a bit. Feel free to post! I personally love to hear what the rest of the community is doing.
Consider joining [email protected]
We have two fediverse communities already, we don’t really need three :)
