4th July is of no note in the UK. Working, doing the same as any other day!

I’ll actually be at the esplanade in Boston to see the Boston Pops and Massachusetts National Guard perform my favorite musical instrument, the M198 155mm howitzer.

Mentally preparing myself for being locked in a closet with my drugged up dogs who will be a nervous wreck all night and it’s the only place in the house they feel safe in, but I also need to be in there for them to feel safe, and the sounds of the fireworks will be slightly muffled from there.

My dogs and I aren’t fans of the 4th of July.

Hoping for rain between the hours of 7pm to midnight. For context, we’ve been breathing in the smoke from the Canadian wildfires for weeks now.

Well, it’s a Tuesday so that means I can get fresh fish in my local street market. Nothing much going on otherwise.

I don’t know of any holiday today BUT I know the day of the banana is only eight days away on july 12th. 🤩

Gonna be working in the cave today. Thirty degree weather, nearly 100% humidity, but damn if it ain’t lovely in that cave.
