I’m on librewolf but I’m half sure this stuff is probably on vanilla firefox and all that too, apologies if it’s not… unless the post still fits in here anyways.
Anyways. So like you go to the hamburger menu and there’s this thing that says more tools. there, you can find cool stuff like a translator, eyedropper, task manager and a bunch of other stuff. Is there a way I add any of those to the toolbar or whatever? I don’t see them when I try to edit the toolbar and It would be very convenient.
Thanks!
Not quite what you asked, but assuming you just want a color picker, and not something specific to the firefox one, you might be better off setting up a system color picker triggered by a global shortcut. Process depends on the distro though, so I couldn’t say how.
Seems like there is no normal way of doing this, it’s requested and known: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/eyedropper-tool-shortcut/idi-p/137228 and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1446238
One suggestion from these threads is to add the “Developer” button from “Customize Toolbar…”. It’s not a direct button for the eyedropper, but at least its only 2 clicks away now, instead using the main menu.
Oh, wait, thank you!
No, yeah, adding a drop menu would also be great.
