I agree with you there. Malicious or petty users are always willing to take the extra step to gain that information anyway.

I believe the newer versions of mbin only show who upvoted, they’ve taken to hiding downvote info. Still lots of other ways to view that data though.

I fully agree. The comms I’m modding, I’m doing so because I want them to exist and they wouldn’t if I stepped away from them right now. The moment I think they can get by without me I’m finding some other sucker to take them over.

If you’re aware enough, you can feel one landing on you. Easier to do if you’re aware there’s one in the room and you try to focus. No real way for them to evolve around that.

Zombie. Whales.

Many of the more modern and realistic takes have it caused by an organism that’s gone endemic. Meaning anything or anybody that dies changes, regardless of if they were bitten. This provides a constant source of new zombies. In addition to the fact that other survivors are usually a bigger threat than the zombies themselves.

We kicked him out of office a few years ago, then prosecuted his ass and jailed him. Happy ending? Not quite. His political party is permanently on the verge of freeing him, and there’s a non zero chance he’ll be PM again at some point in future. Malaysian politics are a ride.
