This is not where it is. It’s when the next person really does have a great idea, and doesn’t need to beg a publisher or spend thousands of hours honing an unrelated skill like blender to build a prototype.

I like to think of it in terms of stack of 300X (I could buy your year in a day’s interest) and work your way up.

My pet theory is (circa 10000 BCE) that ‘houses’ and ‘hours’ are related words, the 12 hour clock matched the zodiac, each hour/house was 1 Assyrian ‘watch’ and they had no trouble day or night (constellations at night, sundial during the day), they were easy to build, easy to communicate, easy to understand and efficient.
