Another one in a similar vein is “It’s All Gone Pete Tong”. In this case, it’s a DJ who loses his hearing.
Ours was a fiend for potato chip shrapnel. He was good friends with our kindergartener for the same reason.
Saw them open for NIN in Phoenix about a decade ago. Was very pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend them as well.
I was going to say Twist by Korn, but I’m really digging the Barbie Girl suggestion
Those cheeks aren’t going to clap themselves
Saw some at our local Barnes & Noble too.
Fine. But I’m using the microwave to do it!
Might scope out the forums and comments sections at Ars Technica. There’s a wealth of information from a ton of the regulars.
I’m going to put up another movie, The Dark Tower.
I’m a big Stephen King fan, and the Dark Tower series is probably my favorite work of his, aside from The Stand.
I think the movie got too much hate from all the stans and it was clearly just farther along in the many turns of the wheel of Ka.
I’ma put Super Mario Bros. up as a contender too. Doesn’t get much better than Dennis Hopper and Bob Hoskins.
Suzy Eddie Izzard. The show is Dress To Kill (1998)
Really good show, imo.
Looks like a contrail from one or more airplanes near the same altitude of the clouds.
Too bad those advances will be monetized as hard as possible and limited to those that can afford it.
People who wear sunglasses indoors. I get fluorescent or bright led lights bother some folks, but it still screams asshole to me.
Absolutely seconding making one’s own mayo. I do keep Duke’s mayo in the fridge for ease of use though. Busy with kindergartner/shift work/etc. Duke’s has a decent acidic zing that a lot of the other brands don’t have (imo)
Edit to add, some folks will even use pickle juice in lieu of their vinegar. Don’t be afraid to use different types of vinegar as well. I like to use apple cider vinegar or legit Spanish sherry vinegar when I’m feeling fancy.
Kinda similar, I’ll finish off the shrapnel from a bag of corn chips with a spoonful or two of salsa in the salsa bowl. Spicy cereal, I guess?
