  • They were more competent bozos. They ran Germany the way that your stupid friend gets laid more often because they aren’t smart enough to be embarrassed by themselves and they know only one goal.

Whereas these guys run America like an ugly stupid person that insists that no, actually, they have already in fact convinced you to sleep with them despite what your words say and the goal is to confuse you into bed.

  • I think that type of speculation is acceptable usually but their self driving tech hasn’t significantly improved in a while and has been out for years, so those expectations should be mostly priced in by now.

You add that to their falling sales figures and the fact that they spent crazy money developing cyber truck and have had multiple recalls on it already, the stock is completely out to lunch. Usually they’re somewhat in touch with reality. Like Apple is a bit out to lunch but its movement is still news-based somewhat. Not the case with Tesla, they’re not out to lunch they’re out till next year in Tahiti

  • Why? Shareholders do not care about the health of the company so long as its stock price is high. And Teslas stock price is not based on any fundamental principle of investing.

Their market cap, or the total value of all their shares, is currently worth more than the next 30 largest auto manufacturers COMBINED.

Let me put it this way: Every single car sold in the United States this year could be made by Tesla and they still wouldn’t even be close to being worth what they are right now based on company fundamentals. Thats how insane this is. Shareholders of the company couldn’t be happier and yet their company is declining in sales and killing off its customer base. Absolutely insane.

  • It’s because Nvidia is an American company and also because they make final stage products. American companies right now are all overinflated and almost none of the stocks are worth what they’re at because of foreign trading influence.

As much as people whine about inflation here, the US didn’t get hit as bad as many other countries and we recovered quickly which means that there is a lot of incentive for other countries to invest here. They pick our top movers, they invest in those. What you’re seeing is people bandwagoning onto certain stocks because the consistent gains create more consistent gains for them.

The other part is that yes, companies who make products at the end stage tend to be worth a lot more than people trading more fundamental resources or parts. This is true of almost every industry except oil.

  • That’s not it chief, plenty of women want relationships. The issue is just that men don’t care to have them on the terms of women, men want relationships that cater to their needs or desires primarily.

Then the other half of it is that they’ve had so many men pretend to value their needs but then drop them the moment they show even a little bit of pullback or discomfort. So women realize that men don’t really care about them as people, they just want the end results.

So by agreeing to be friends with them, there’s no physicality to it and the only way friendships work is if that give and take exists. Which makes it much easier to appreciate someone’s good characteristics without the pressure men give to make such quick determinations.

Not to be that guy but 50,000 people is still a lot. Percentages are great because if they’re very low we tend to like that but it doesn’t change the absolute number.

The real comparison isn’t how safe the vaccine is, its how safe the vaccine is compared to getting the disease it’s preventing. Every medical product is not about zero harm or low harm, it’s about harm reduction. If medical therapies didn’t cause harm, we wouldn’t have chemo treatments and we would be much worse at treating cancers.

Well that and not to mention that politicians abroad do the exact same thing they do in the US. I know the British for instance have a Conservative Party that have repeatedly attacked their healthcare system in order to make privatized insurance seem better.

And then the issues caused by a lack of funding get used in the US to say “SEE! This system doesn’t work!”

Which is the logical equivalent of watching your friend baking pies with not enough filling and deciding to instead pay 4x the price for a pie that you won’t even get your promised slice of. Oh and the pie you get occasionally is made with the meat of other people who were also promised a pie and paid for it.

  • I’ve never had this experience. Almost all of my professors and most of teachers would have seen this, chuckled, accepted my apology, and then requested a better intro due the next day.

Most of my professors explicitly recognized that we would finish things last minute, cram the night before, be sleep deprived, or otherwise not be great with our schedule. And they did not discourage us with that information but rather tried to aid or alleviate it. I had professors say “I scheduled this exam to be due at 5:30pm on a Friday so that you can enjoy your weekend and not worry about completing this at midnight at a party.”

I think many teachers are much cooler than their students realize, they’re just people and while they have expectations, most teachers won’t spit in your face when you’re expressing yourself genuinely or trying in earnest.
