I had a teacher who believed that the moon landing was fake.
It’s like a South Park episode, except you couldn’t make this up. It’s beyond satire.
I like eating bones.
It’s sad how the US has spent so long building up an alliance with Canada, only for it to all be ruined by Trump in such a short amount of time. I was planning on travelling to California but those plans have since been scrapped as I just don’t feel comfortable travelling to the US. I’m genuinely worried things may escalate further.
I’ve only ever used a high end gaming PC (cost me about $5,300, but it was worth it) to play games, draw, browse the internet, and social media. I’m really not a smartphone kind of person and I think it’s because I’m mostly a PC gamer who has grown accustomed to always having a huge 27-inch 2K screen and having everything respond instantaneously, as opposed to a 3-5 second input lag on everything.
Chomp it raw. I think this habit of eating raw pasta came from my old habit of eating bones.
I don’t know if it’s normal, but I have something similar where if I eat chocolate my temples start to tingle. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember and I’m not allergic since I was tested for that. I’d recommend that you get an allergy test done though, just to be on the safe side!
To eat cooked? Orzo! I love rice and pasta, and they made a rice shaped pasta. It’s a win-win!
To eat raw? Wholewheat spaghetti or if I’m feeling especially daring, farfalle.
There have been photos of Earth from space since 1946. There’s a Japanese geostationary satellite named Himawari-8 which takes a photo of the Earth every ten minutes.
The Earth isn’t flat and even the ancient Greeks proved it to be spherical. Some people don’t want to understand physics, and they feel fulfilled by thinking they’re “in the know” about something secret.
I still laugh at that stupid asterisk chair meme and I have no shame so you’re good haha. Just enjoy it!
The one I’m having now! I have hyperthymia and when I have flare ups of it those can last for several weeks or months. For those who don’t know what hyperthymia is it’s basically a constant state of mild mania.
I remember reading that it would’ve actually cost a lot more for people to fake a moon landing back in those days than to actually go there. When viewed from above, the shadows in the Apollo photos are parallel because the light source is so far away!
I was just about to comment Futurama! Really not sure what to think of the newer episodes though…
Yes, and according to my parents I didn’t learn how to swim, I just instinctively did it, in a similar fashion to how I just started running one day. I don’t remember learning how to swim either it’s just something I’ve always been able to do.
A while ago, I was speaking to someone from the UK online. They were the type of person who assumed that all of the UK’s problems were being caused by migrants, and they were outraged at an article which said that migrants and other vulnerable persons will receive priority care. They had no issue with other vulnerable groups getting priority care, except for migrants.
They then went off on a tirade about how “migrants are taking over” the UK. So, I asked them if they personally knew any of these migrants, if the UK is really being “taken over” by them.
They said “no” and didn’t know what to say after that.
I remember figuring out on my own that the Earth is spherical when I was 6 years old and I witnessed big ships disappearing from the bottom up over the horizon.
Just last week, my friend was eaten by a wild New Yorker. Rest in peace Sam Widge…
Aw yeah New Zealand! I often have trouble telling Australian and New Zealand accents apart though, they sound really similar to me. Love Australian and Kiwi accents!
South-ern, with the “sou” rhyming with “how”
Wonderful news! I wish your wife the best of health 🙏
