How exactly do you support a genocidal state and the people it’s genociding at the same time?
You don’t think that’s a massive contradiction?

Yeah see that seems to be a very libertarian market driven way of looking at things.
The way things end up working, at least in the US, is that they a) just won’t raise the minimum wage, and b) even if everyone stops tipping they won’t raise it, and then you’ll have a bunch of people unable to live who still have to work for shit wages. Which is exactly the situation that exists in the states right now.
I’ve lived in the Netherlands for 3 years - i much prefer the set up there. As you say, pay the price that’s listed. No extra surprises.
Why? What did fry do?
How? Those people just aren’t going to get the money. Its not like the company is going to pay them extra because you didnt tip. Theyve already decided that the wage will be low Your logic doesn’t really make sense
Like every app you have doesn’t collect keystrokes data?
People who send voice notes piss me off so much.
Yeah i know the connotations for the west is Hitler and aryan
Not quite the same but if you go to India you’ll see swastikas everywhere. For Indians it means something completely different, Hitler just stole it and changed it. If you see a swastika in the west you generally know exactly what you’re getting
Not really outside of the west. He’s Taiwanese i believe and 88 is considered fairly auspicious
I’m confused honestly - the post I saw just said that he was happy that Trump picked an anti trust person to break up big tech.
Why is that bad? Don’t people want the big monopolies broken up?
I’ve had 5 ACL surgeries and torn my hamstring a couple times and my Achilles. I honestly really love wearing my vibrams. Ive got a couple trail running ones and ones I wear for working out, as well as a pair for just walking around. When it’s not shit cold and icy out I wear them all the time. It just feels better and hurts my knees and my back way less after all the damage I’ve done to them.
Honestly never understood why people were so bothered by them. Would I wear them on a first date? Probably not unless I knew the woman was also into them. But if I’m gonna be in a relationship with you? You should probably be okay with being seen with me in them.
My girlfriend now doesn’t like them particularly but she doesn’t have a problem with me wearing them anywhere, even to see her family.
I don’t think that means what you think it means
Why are you mad at the truth? We’ve known for over a decade that Facebook steals your data and listens to your conversations…
I agree with this. I went to see it with my dad and girlfriend. Brighter than a 1000 suns is a phenomenal book about the entire project and both my dad and I were excited to see it
The science and history were poorly handled and the movie did not need to be 3 hours long. Could have been an easy 1:45 and it would have hit the plots
What Why?
Even then would be pretty recent considering human history, and I have a feeling that like you said that’s very narrowed down through both region and religion.
Though funnily enough I grew up (middle school and high school) with kids from 2 different Mormon families as two of my closest friends, and knew kids from 2 others. Each of those 4 families had a minimum of 5 kids, and each one of those kids as far as I know, both guys and girls, got married by 23.
But it was normal in Europe to be betrothed as young as 5, and married at 12 or 13 for centuries.
If you go to the east, Akbar the Great was married off at 9.
People throughout history have been married way younger.
It’s only a very recent phenomenon in 90% of the world that people don’t get married by 22. Even go back to the 80s and 90s which weren’t that long ago - getting married under 25 was exceptionally common
Im not trying to be mean or anything, but how active and how healthy were you eating at that time?
Honestly there second someone starts talking during a game I just go and mute them. 99.9% of the time it’s really annoying. Once in a while you get someone who actually knows what they’re doing and talking about, isn’t a dick, and actually gives good advice or help. But that happens so rarely it’s not worth it
Wait what did Tarentino do/say? I didn’t hear that one at all
