You don’t need to merge with Nissan to do that if you’re Honda. Just buy out their design team. Much cheaper lol.

Clowns to the left of me. Jokers to the right.
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.

Every single right leaning person I know LOVES several movies and shows that have main characters that aren’t white men.
The boondocks, blade series, basically anything Morgan Freeman or Samuel L Jackson have done, Lando, Morpheus and uncle Phil off the top of my head.
I am aware there are the super racist far right guys that probably can’t even watch Scooby Doo because the dog is brown, but the grand majority of “right wing” people aren’t white supremacists that lose their shit if a character isn’t white in their movies and shows. Even if that’s what some people here might tell you is the case.
Honestly thank God.
I was really worried about how this was only going to drag down Honda.
I used to love Nissan. They made several of my dream cars.
Unfortunately it’s been quite some time since they made anything very good imo.
Currently have a reputation of meh reliability and meh driving experience.
They don’t offer anything to entice someone away from Toyota or Honda.
I hope Nissan can come back but idk how they do that without a serious overhaul of their whole business from the ground up.
Even if we all had the exact same skin tone there woulda still be racists. They would just move onto hair color or eye color or nose width. Some people just have hate in their hearts and they will use any physical differences to lump people together.
Personally I’m with Morgan Freeman on the topic. Just stop talking about it. Stop talking about race. We are all humans. We all got struggles. Let’s all get along as humans and work together.
Because American protestors have zero imagination.
The Brits know how to start a proper chant.
“Honey have you made sure the baby got some fresh air today?”
"Yeah I hung him out the window*
“You WHAT?!”
There’s a British blacksmith on YouTube that has the name Alec Steele.
His videos are actually very informative and fun to watch.
If you need fake Internet points to motivate you to be a good person then you are probably not a good person.
I’m not saying you specifically OP, but just in general. If karma was the only reason someone was civil on reddit that gives off the same vibes as the people who ask why we aren’t out raping and murdering if we don’t believe in God.
Americans aren’t a homogenous group. In fact I would say we are probably one of the most diverse groups of people in the world. It’s kinda our strong suit.
To answer your question more directly: yes. It is irrational to hate and despise every American at this point.
The line of thinking you’re showing at the end there is very dangerous. I would advise that you take a step back and think about why it could be problematic to apply that sort of logic.
I mean its lame but it’s pretty much standard at this point. Gotta make an account to use anything these days.
Ehhhhhh even within the seasons themselves the writing and character motivations are just bad. Not like 0/10 terrible but watching Korra with the expectation that it was going to be anything near as quality as the original series was always going to be difficult.
Not a bad show by any means. Just not anywhere near as good as the original series.
I’m going into every single office building I can find and just hitting “Ctrl+z” randomly on peoples keyboards as I float around.
Maybe the occasional screen rotate. Most offices workers would not know how to fix their screen being upside down or sideways.
For the bosses I would change the keyboard over to dvorak layout or something.
CEOs I would probably alter their email signature slightly in an offensive way so they get in trouble and possibly fired.
I can think of so many wonderful things to do as a ghost lol
Thankfully they can’t go back and ruin the original series. They can taint the legacy but the original series will still be there.
Criminal presidents are so in right now.
As someone who really did not enjoy Korras writing for the most part I am not looking forward to this.
Im going to go into it with basically zero expectations so I can’t disappoint myself again.
I didn’t Vote for Trump and I am not a Republican.
I declared none of those things. I simply do not care for “guilty by association” type thinking.
Taking your asinine line of thinking to an extreme shouldn’t California all be considered Republicans since they haven’t forced all the Republicans (the most of any state) to move out of state yet?
The only rancid thing I’ve seen around here is the festering pit where your brain should be.
I would say that I out loud laugh at comments here pretty often. Not because they were trying to be funny, but because these people are so unbelievably disconnected from reality that some of the shit they say is just hilarious.
My only other real complaints on Lemmy is the lack of user feedback and the laughable moderation. Often times I’ll be banned from a sub without me knowing so it just gives me errors for trying to upvote or leave a comment. Just tell me it’s because I’m banned. Giving me an error just makes me wonder if that instance is down or something.
I have been banned from subs I’ve never even interacted with simply because they saw I had comments with lots of downvotes. That’s ridiculous. I have received several bans for rules I haven’t broken. I have lost track of how many comments have been deleted by “automod” days after I left the comment. It’s clearly just a mod using the automod as a layer of anonymity.
Overall I have had an alright experience with Lemmy. Some users are very kind and helpful. Many of them are elitist snobs that think they are the most intelligent humans put on this planet.
I thought reddit was a left wing echo chamber at times and then I got here. I didn’t realize how much worse it could get.
My little brother said the same thing. I think you’re both right. Clearly that wasn’t enough to push the deal through though.
