Well no. As others have said the force in the pole will travel at the speed of sound.
Though if you were to wiggle the flashlight back and forth really fast the spotlight on the moon would travel “faster” than the speed of light.

I mean, I don’t know how to code but I imagine it’s the same as with other subjects. like not being able to use a calculator during some math tests. The point of the examination is for you to demonstrate you know and understand the concepts. It’s not for you to be tested in the same way you would be in the real world.
Could just be tall. As a 6’5’’ guy this mirror would be perfect for me.
Um. This is just flatly not true. For starters, according to the Chinese government themselves only 23 military personel died. And those casualties only occurred AFTER the peoples liberation army started using live rounds against protesters the evening of June the 3rd 1989. And the 300 number is very conservative. The actual number is likely in the thousands.
You very clearly are either a troll just making things up or you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about
I think the best parallel that could be drawn would be the [Kent State Shootings.] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings) given the similarities between the Kent state students’ goals and the Tiananmen students’ goals.
Though even then there were only four fatalities. No where near Tiananmen. Plus the US government isn’t doing anything to try to hide the murders either.
Are you seriously comparing the Tiananmen square massacre where at least 300 peaceful protesters/students were killed by the Chinese military to the Jan 6 riots where there were only two people killed? (Technically there were 5 deaths but three of them were either overdoses or natural causes). One was a cop killed by the rioters and another was a lady warned several times that she was going to be shot if she continued to break into the capital building.
These are not even remotely similar situations.
Like, isn’t that an admission that your business has no value?
Tootie fruities are just flat out better tha Froot Loops. Fight me.
Well it’s photoshopped with an image of a different cat with a probable eye infection. Not a lot better.
I mean. It doesn’t have to be scarier than those things to be worthy of fear. A tiger isn’t necessarily any scarier than a lion. Doesn’t mean I’m not scared of a tiger mauling me if it got its claws on me
Unless you have a Sony phone or an LG V series phone. The DACs on those are incredible (for phones at least)
Even the soil is quiet quitting these days!
Nobody said anything about gun bans. Just gun control laws. I’m also well aware that gun control laws disproportionately affect minorities and I myself am not in favor of strict gun laws. (Though common sense screenings make a lot of sense to me)
I was merely poking fun at the right’s pro gun rhetoric and proclivity to completely disregard rhetoric when it inconveniences the rich.
Republicans are going to start being in favor of gun control laws if the gun violence pendulum starts swinging in that direction. Not sure if that would be a win or not.
Gotta watch out for the clappers
hears clap on clap off jingle in the distance
Oh no…

While that’s obviously very sad and tragic the purpose of criminal justice should never be vengeance or an eye for an eye. It should be about rehabilitation and reintegration. Yes it’s awful that a life was lost but functionally removing another life from society for forever is hardly a good solution.
Who tf says we’re not mad? We’re fucking furious.
