I don’t do nuance with Nazi shit, sorry.
Didn’t bother reading past that nonsense. Glad you got some writing exercise in, though.
I have a Bluesky account where I post art: @9whiteteeth.bsky.social

You’ve got some balls coming in here & proclaiming You’re a fan of Nazi billshit.
He was talking directly to the American People, as he mentioned right before this quote.
But it seems American media is invested in keeping the American people uninvested. Like this is between two leaders and we just get to watch.
Hey, I still have that exact iMac on my garage!
It’s got Yellow Dog Linux on it lol
I am an artist & I agree, actually.
I do think it’s problematic that corpos are using AI to replace working artists, although that’s a systemic issue affecting a lot of disciplines.
That said, and I will get hate for this, there is a case to be made that if artists were more creative and interesting in general, they wouldn’t be so easily displaced by AI slop.
You’re right about this. I was commenting in the context of “intellectual property”.
There is an entire sub-genre in Comics of cartoons riffing on Garfield like this one. Nearly every cartoonist has done it and, oh my lord, it fills me with joy & reminds me why I actually love people.
The big difference is Deepseek is open sourced, which ALL of these models should be because they used our collective knowledge and culture to create them.
I like AI but the single biggest issue is how it is being gated off and abused by Capitalists for profit (It’s kind of their thing).
Now see, I wouldn’t know because I don’t check prices on the Internet. I just go, buy some shit if it’s there, if it’s not, I get annoyed & maybe try somewhere else if it’s important enough for me at that moment.
I guess I just don’t like online shopping, it feels like a chore to me.
That said, I am privileged enough to live somewhere where there are multiple options for shopping close by, so, easy for me to say.
I usually just… go to the store.
I started using Reddit in 2008 (kill me). One of the of the defining traits of the site at the time was the fact everything was anonymous. It was considered taboo to expose your Reddit persona to your irl circles. Hell, I still don’t have an email associated with my Reddit account.
It’s been interesting, and a little tragic, to watch that attitude erode over the years and then see Reddit itself encourage the idea of creating a unique identity to cash in.
Lemmy is way more like the original Reddit & I’ll actually admit to using Lemmy, even though no one knows wtf I’m on about.
Yo, that’s like $700.00 worth of eggs right there.
Sail the ship
Chop the tree
Jump the rope
Punch Naziiiiiiiiiiis
(All together now)
Okay. The thing about humor is most people suck at it.
Not really?
Something needs to be funny to be funny.
I mean, joking about beating kids isn’t really that funny?
Even if it could be, this sure ain’t it.
I am legally obligated to speak up/report.
Look, you can make friends with as many KKK as you want.
I’d rather follow the example my Grandfather set, thanks.
