If the alien movies serve us correctly, this is luckily going to hit the USA; possibly Washington DC directly.

Also maybe EUaC (EU and Canada)? 🥹
Who voted for that? Or alternatively, who didn’t care enough to vote against it?
Oh wow. That is very American to do
I haven’t read the book but I’ve watched the movie. What’s the last chapter about and why’s it cut?
Like PinkGuy/Joji from the meme or the actual song?
One day old account with only negative point comments relating to Trump and Ukraine
I feel like Trump could just make up any half assed excuse for why the voting stations need to be shut down though and they’d buy it.
Like it Trump says it, it is rule of law to them
It’s not really what you’re looking for but I noticed recently that NodeBB (forum software) supports the fediverse. I actually found my lemmy user on it which I thought was super neat
“but we can’t protest, we have to pay bills!”
Did you upload the correct image?
Random question but are any Americans being more careless with loans? It kind of seems like the US is on a crash course with an iceberg and I admit I’d feel a bit more at ease with debt in that situation than normally

Voter turnout was 64% which means 36% of Americans didn’t give enough of a shit to vote. Combine that with those who did vote for Trump and yeah, more than 2/3rds of Americans may as well have voted for it
Edit: the distinction may not matter to you but it does to the countries your country is fucking over
Canada also has a bunch of far right assholes who’re currently leading in our polls. Luckily the US clusterfuck is making Canadians think twice about voting for them though and they’re dropping in the polls
Quick edit: it’s hilarious because they have to court both the moderate conservatives who hate Trump and the far right who idolise him and they’re fumbling both
Yeah… I really don’t know what’s going on there but its confined to mostly Alberta and Saskatchewan luckily. Our Conservative premier in Ontario is a (former? maybe?) Trump supporter but at least he’s been very against it, even if it is just for the provincial election.
Our next federal election is where the future of our country is really going to be revealed though
Canadians will go scorched earth before accepting occupation though. I can see the US union breaking apart sooner than Americans occupying and holding Ottawa
How in the hell is wanting strong regulations the same thing as believing in racial suppremacy?
Also there are endless examples of countries with strong regulations and more than two parties
It’s totally a technicality but we share a land border with Denmark via Greenland. It’s literally just a rock cut in half in the middle of the Arctic but it counts! (Hans Island)
For me it was because I was a broke (ignorant) college student who bought the cheapest printer I could out of necessity
