You are likely not old enough to remember windows 2000. It had the NT kernel and did nothing more than expected. It got out of your way so you could do work.

There have been some improvements over the years, but Microsoft’s goals for windows changed after that, which is when enshitification started.

I would think that farmers were experienced and smart enough to know which crops would hybridize and which don’t. They would not need the clergy to tell them that.

We don’t see farmers today getting farming advice from the church. They get it from other farmers. I don’t see any reason for it to be different back then.

I do see however that the church wanted to sound important and wise. So they wrote things down, but without having a full understanding, so a lot of the advice they wrote down is too simplistic.

Or some priest or political leader took revenge against a pig farmer who slept with his daughter.

And the mixed crops this was more likely to make sure farmers are not self sufficient.

Agree. KDE neon is my daily right now. Very good out of the box. I just had to nuke snaps on it. Plays very nicely on laptops in terms of battery life, noise and temperature. Sleep and hibernate also works very well.

It is curious that no flaps or spoilers were deployed. Maybe the control was not as great as it appeared. The plane did touch down a long way down the runway.

Having one thrust reverser deployed on the side of the bird strike was super weird. Both thrust reversers can be controlled by the APU hydraulic system
