They’re filming a version in space, but in one day in space is like a dozen years on Earth so it won’t be done until 2187.

Churchillian Drift is the term, coined by British writer Nigel Rees, which describes the widespread misattribution of quotes by obscure figures to more famous figures, usually of their time period.[1] The term connotes the particular egregiousness of misattributions to British prime minister Winston Churchill.
OP you probably realize you haven’t literally seen/experienced everything in the world. I suspect you’ve switched from one stage in your life to another. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but you probably want to talk to a trusted friend / relative / counselor to make sure you’re not depressed or something. I gotta say tho that people who “go crazy” as teens and young adults and never stop are sometimes very off-kilter as older people.
That’s too slow. Take us to defcon one.
Indivisible has some good ideas:
I havent really kept tabs on how the “everything” feed works. Does it show posts from small communities here and there?
If you want to see posts from small communities (balanced with the larger ones) then select “Scaled” instead of “Hot” or “Active”.
If you’re sick of politics and tech then subscribe to communities you like and sort by “Subscribed” instead of “Local” or “All”. Look here for relevant communities:

Most of these are currently active. (except for the ones with a * which were less active last I checked). Sometimes politics sneaks in but that’s not the focus.
Check out !fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com … people there are actively thinking about ways to help people migrate. To some extent also !lemmyapps@lemmy.world
I don’t think the barrier to entry is all that bad… if you install Jerboa or Boost you’re immediately presented with Lemmy content without worrying about creating an account… then you can get a feel for whether you like it or not.
It’s only a problem if someone is told they must choose a server and create an account to see Lemmy content at all. Ideally people would just be pointed to a server and told to select “Scaled” to get a sense of the smaller communities…
Vibranium, duh. They should pay us for not divering the asteroid.
But who’s going to pay for it? Not MY tax dollars!
A billion kilometers? How much is that? A few miles? Half a parsec? A couple pounds sterling? This is really worrisome…
as others have said, browse by “subscribed”. Here are a list of communities to subscribe to:

I recognize your name and appreciate your efforts, fam!
Nah, I’d just buy rights to the song “Tetsuo” from the Akira soundtrack, and make that the new national anthem.
Say, are you saying that it’s possible to take an existing Mastodon post, and post it into Lemmy? If so can you pliz point me to someplace that says how to do that? So far I’ve only seen this guide: https://anonsys.net/display/bf69967c-1467-8270-7e3d-48d984455929 and it only says how to crosspost a new Mastodon post, not an existing Mastodon post.
The article seems well-written, except that:
the fediverse — the open social web powered by the protocol ActivityPub also used by Mastodon, Threads, Flipboard, and others.
Seriously? Flipboard has like one thousand Monthly Active Users and we have like 50 times that, but we’re like “and others” lel… I guess they didn’t mention Pixelfed either tho and it’s a lot “hotter”…
depressed/self-loathing people dating each other is a really bad idea and results in shitty relationships and emotional turmoil
I see what you’re getting at here… but sometimes instead it results in going to couples therapy and figuring out the roots of your problem and talking to a psychiatrist for medications, etc.
Truly, we have left the era of irony and entered the era of farce.
No. Even when I look in the mirror, I deny it.
