Are they siblings? I’ve had cats my entire life and it seems that they only ever get along well if they’ve grown up with each other. Adding a new cat hasn’t typically worked out great.

Not to mention you can just make another Baking community on a separate instance. No need to make “Baking2” or anything like that.
I think the problem we have is that we don’t have the “power users” who submit all the content that everyone discusses and replies to. I don’t think this is necessarily good or bad as there are pros and cons to these types of users, but at the end of the day you need new content to drive more engagement and creating new content is a ton of work with little payoff.
I don’t have an answer to any of your questions and I don’t think many others will either. It seems like one of those things that you look back at with the clarity of hindsight in order to map things out.
Corporations absolutely are people, at least according to Mitt Romney and SCOTUS.
What’s sad is that $5 parking is a killer deal.
There’s also just the denial phase.
As evidenced in The Big Short when it was very clear to banks and regulators that the whole mortgage shell game was falling apart and they all refused to act on it.
To start, we have Trump calling Zelensky a “dictator” and blaming Ukraine for “starting the war with Russia.” We have Trump negotiating the removal of sanctions against Russia. We have Trump calling for Russia to be re-added to the G7. Russia hacked the DNC in 2016 and leaked all their information to help get him elected the first time. During his first term, we had Republicans walking around like this:
Russia wants the power and influence of the former USSR. They’re doing it by destabilizing and weakening western countries like the US and UK via bot farms on social media, getting people like Trump elected and leading them around by their nose, getting Brexit passed, stoking animosity and conflict, engaging in proxy wars like in Syria, supporting dictatorships like North Korea, trying to destabilize NATO while forming their own organization called BRICS, etc, etc.
That sounds pretty rad. I’m almost 40 and haven’t ever seen this either. Perhaps it was just the coke addicted business tycoons of the 1980s and '90s that got to experience this tech.
I can tell you don’t follow politics or the news if you think they need to “overtake” us when the elected president is capitulating to their every desire while half the voting population cheers it on.
Yes like a shitty car infotainment touchscreen from 2008.
People are individuals and you individually decided to declare yourself a member of a party that chose Trump and his MAGA rhetoric as their leader. Specifically which of your elected party representatives are you referring to when you say that Trump worshippers don’t represent Republicans? The proof is in the pudding and the pudding is rancid.
The only one I ever had experience with was the Blackberry Touch that my wife had. It was a total piece of junk and I think she went through 2 or 3 during the warranty period. This was after their heyday, though, when they were trying to jump on the smartphone bandwagon.
“I’m not a Nazi and I’m offended at your assertion,” says man sitting at a table full of Nazis.
What’s special about Blackberry keyboards that every early slider phone didn’t have?
I would love to have something like my HTC G1 again with modern hardware and screen.
Haptic feedback maxed out plus the tap sounds with the volume turned up to 100% is the way to go.
60% Bluetooth, but what’s the other 40%?
They’re playing the long game and having everyone else destroy themselves so that they can swoop in afterward. Much like how the US did after WWII when most of the world was rebuilding.
Would we be considered “an ally” is Putin is running both countries? We be more like a satellite office of the Russian empire.
Repeating the word “propaganda” over and over isn’t an explanation and doesn’t make it true.
Making false claims and repeating them over and over while refusing to provide any details is definitely a tactic propagandists use, however. Gee, isn’t that funny…
Not sure how this would work as most corporations aren’t isolated to a single state and they’re the ones sending your tax dollars to the feds via payroll deductions. I see this as being similar to banks who won’t allow dispensaries to have bank accounts since they’re still illegal federally even if it’s perfectly legal within the state.
