Mullvad
I thought they were wonderful. Until they got rid of port forwarding, which is the only reason why I was paying them: as a torrenting VPN.
If you don’t need that feature, Mullvad is still great…they take privacy/security seriously! That’s why they got rid of the feature I used haha.

1·1 month agoFrankly if it ever comes to a time it’s impossible to prevent internet connection on any TV for whatever reason in my life, I’ll take off the back of the TV and desolder/destroy the transceiver.

What was it Anton on YT said once? Something about maybe Dark Matter turns out to be a boring “brute fact” that the only property it has is a weak interaction and nothing else.
My bet is if we do it’ll be some unsatisfactory brute fact the last smart guy will figure out 3 days before the Sun grows too hot for us to survive any longer.
18·2 months agoSaw him last year, my sister dragged me to one of his climate change talks. Fairly worthless to anyone except children who don’t know what’s going on yet pretty much. The Q&A section was funny because it was entirely people asking him what they should do about it, and Bill just kinda shrugging with non-answers and irrational optimism. Good talk.
All I need is a community repo, and a cfg edit to parallel download. That’s it, perfection.
Make friends with and live with people who aren’t living the indoctrination setting you were brought up in.
Even then, I’ll probably be deprogramming from some stupid shit I was taught all the way till death.
