This for me becomes really obvious when you’re learning a new (movement) skill. For example after driving lessons or my first time skiing I spent the nights going through all the scenario’s. They also show that mice learning their way through a maze activate the same “direction” neurons in sequence of going through the maze while they dream and they think it will help in learning.

If you eat well and work out, you are probably looking really nice! Don’t compare yourself to “perfect” people on instagram, compare yourself with who you where before (or just for fun with the average person in wallmart). It also helps to find another goal than simple looking good, such as lifting a certain weight, or participate in sport events. Makes it all way more fun.

There were some older people at my university and they always sadly had a lot of trouble making friends and fitting in. Be glad your son is a good guy who doesnt judge people by their age.

Now I take cold medicine when a cold starts and a painkiller to sleep well during the cold and they last about a quarter if the time.
