That’s been my theory as well.
It very well could be the mac that I have. It’s a work laptop so it’s not the top of the line mac book pro, so some more advanced display features may be missing. I haven’t tried the dual displayport connection only HDMI. Might be worth checking out. Thanks for the tip!
I use Mac’s at work and whenever I have to use 3rd party accessories (keyboard, mouse, headset, USB switch, etc) that are not apple products they tend to have some issues. I use the same accessories on my personal PC and have never had any issues that unplugging and plugging back in didn’t fix. Also I hate that I need to use two USB C to HDMI connectors to have two displays connected to my laptop.
I think they were referring to the fact that World War 2 didn’t start until 1939. The film 1917 and the year take place during World War 1.
Edited for clarification
Bath water is way easier to bottle.
Same here. In a world where a quick nap or a shot from a stimpak cures a broken leg he probably just rubbed dirt on his face or something
From the trailer it looks like he was an actor before the bombs fell so maybe he took care of his skin as he transformed into a ghoul and that’s why he doesn’t look as messed up?
If I truly felt a company, or someone at the company, cared for me and my career I’d have no problem putting in the extra effort. Unfortunately it is a rare occurrence and most of the time decisions are revenue/cash flow related and it doesn’t matter how much a company cares. At the end of the day, no matter how good things are where you work, it’ll always come down to the bottom line and what value you provide vs what you are costing the company.
I’ve been practicing the mercenary method for about 5 years now. Since then I’ve significantly increased my salary and I’ve been a lot happier at work. That on top of learning to say “no” has improved my career life exponentially. NO loyalty. No unpaid overtime. No going above and beyond for a company that isn’t going to return the favor.
Yep I’ve been rocking the stubble/light beard look for about 15 years now and it has been great.
Good reminder to tell your momma you love her.
I see your points and I agree but I have to call out their climate is not stable. You often hear the news in the game talk about weather and temperatures being in the safe range for humans.
Also the cops gun you down over the slightest infraction, or at least they did, I haven’t played since the Phantom Liberty update.
Also in Pacific you attend a funeral at a church and it is heavy on the Christian iconography. Oh and I just remembered you can help a dude crucify (kill) himself for his sins while it’s being streamed and recorded for brain dance experiences!
I recall domestic/intentional politics and espionage being mentioned several times in the game. Even to the point where we uncover a conspiracy where someone is brainwashing potential political candidates. I have an inkling politics will come up in Phantom Liberty as well.
God I miss that phone so much. Was forced to upgrade when Sprint and T-Mobile merged. Been using a pixel since and it just isn’t the same.
Exactly! The new features are getting more and more lackluster each year and it is all just novelty stuff you look at and go “neat!” but that’s about the extent of it.
Back then each new iPhone was such a massive improvement over the last it was like Christmas day when you’d upgrade. Now the new phones are just slightly better than the one you own. So it is hard to get excited over a new $1000 phone when you just bought one two years ago.
Yep, I actually learned how to drive on a manual. Before I got married all my cars were manual transmission as well. In my late 30s from Midwest USA.
Whatever method gets the job done is fine but this is the most correct answer.
