I agree with you as long as we also don’t end up boiling the oceans to get a mediocre picture of Luigi snacking on peanuts or whatever
How did the breaker not trip on that? It had one job
Not quite the same thing, but there’s a project that lets you use TPM to protect your host keys: https://github.com/Foxboron/ssh-tpm-agent
[edit: its primary function is to work with clients but buried in the readme it also explains how to use it for host keys]
Could you elaborate? Because I’m confused by what you could mean here. What is the broader policy that they disagree with? You say they “did agree with the specific neopronouns policy”, so it seems like you are saying they agree that “harassment based on gender or neopronouns [should] remain prohibited—even if the user in question was suspected of being a troll”? If the broader policy is a policy of “respect for trans identities”, it seems like the only thing about the policy they have a problem with is its respect for trans identities.
Your post does contain the line “they remained unhappy with the broader policy of respect for trans identities”, which to me reads as being at least pretty similar to having “issue with transgender identities.” But I’m an outsider to all this and may be missing context.
Telegram isn’t encrypted end-to-end by default; apparently if you do encrypt e2e you can’t access chats from multiple devices.
Signal’s protocol is widely understood to be the gold standard for security, which is one reason it’s been adopted for multiple messengers. Telegram has a bespoke protocol which is not as well regarded.
The new auto update setting is working fine for me. Did a recent install and made sure all the apps I installed didn’t have the warning that it couldn’t auto update, and I haven’t been prompted to update at all.
What phone and OS are you running?
I conditioned my statement with “if you are getting by alright”. If nutritional needs aren’t being met that’s not getting by alright. Though I can see how someone might interpret that differently, but that was my intent.
First, it’s OK to not cook. If you are getting by alright without cooking, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Second, I respect you coming here and admitting your fear. Ironically it takes a lot of bravery to do that!
Third, irrational fears and anxieties are a normal part of the human experience. Everybody has them, so though it can feel like you’re being stupid, you’re really just being human (though some might say that’s two ways of saying the same thing).
Fourth, I’m not a therapist or medical professional but the treatment for phobias I am aware of are CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and exposure therapy. You can find CBT and ACT workbooks that might be helpful. As for exposure therapy, I think it’s best to work with a professional doing that. Exposure therapy is not just taking the plunge, there’s a process to it. Of course, if you can afford it, talking to a mental health professional is always best.
Good luck!
I’m surprised that works for you, given what happens to him immediately after
An average bowling ball is 8.5 inches in diameter, giving it a cross sectional surface area of roughly 60 sq in. Restricting ourselves to feathers made by non-human animals, the longest feather measured was on a Yokohama chicken at 34 feet / 400+ inches. I can’t find the width of the feather, but it’s still likely it outdoes an average bowling ball.
Huge missed opportunity: could have been God made Adam and Eve, not Maple and Leaf
A feather has smaller surface area than a bowling ball.
Depends on the feather and the bowling ball. Even relatively small (by volume) feathers might outdo a bowling ball thanks to the numerous fine shapes they have.
If you want to learn more about it than is frankly reasonable, Jamie Loftus recorded a detailed history including an interview with Naomi H.
Good question! I have heard that there are people who exchange money for labor, and I require money to purchase basic necessities such as food and shelter
Remember kids, when brown people do something bad, it’s terrorism. When white people starve an entire population after a failed occupation, that’s just because we are very concerned about misogyny. Now, starving an entire country en masse has (to my knowledge) never caused a government to be overthrown, and in this case has no chance of improving the treatment of women in the country. Nor have women in Afghanistan ever asked for sanctions, nor do they support them now that they are in place. But don’t let that fool you in to thinking we’re doing it for any reason other than to help women in Afghanistan.
Before you respond, please take a look at my post and notice I said _nothing positive about the Taliban _. This is about the disingenuous use of women’s rights to excuse and even celebrate mass starvation.

Not sure what bread or chocolate chips you are eating, but this isn’t even remotely true
