Good question. I’ve always thought people with absolute pitch can immediately “feel” the pitch, as in, “that’s a C!” Meanwhile, I still need to infer through internal reference points, as in “that’s a C, because the soundtrack of Bob-omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64 begins with the same note, which is a C!” My way takes 2-3 seconds, while those with absolute pitch don’t need to extrapolate/infer.

I can identify a pitch without any external reference, making it look like I have absolute pitch, but I don’t. I’m just super fast at inferring pitches from memory. It was a real, useful, tangible talent/merit when I used to teach the shamisen and Western music theory, but now it just adds a little depth to when I listen to music.

I had no idea there are WiFi headsets. That’s really cool! Sorry I can’t help though…

I have no insight into the scale of operations that would be required to make any noticeable difference, but the two links at the top of my profile are examples of LLM “poisoning” gibberish sites. 😊

Cool! I love all these gems popping up here! Never too late to hop on to a “new” franchise! 🤣

Wait a minute. Why haven’t I played this before. Thanks!

Exercise 100%. This isn’t about exercise though. It’s about why listening to people talking feels relaxing, I guess?

Woa. Thanks! 😃❤️ I’ll check out speech center later!

100%. I don’t know how many times I’ve simply been UNABLE to finish my business because of the shame. Obviously there is more to my case than “simple” poop sound shame (PTSD or whatever, who knows), but still. I’m with you.

Let’s do Dimmu Borgir.

The dark side?

Sic! What an awesome resource! Thanks! 😊

Thanks! Solved! 😁

Thanks! 😃

I made a post a month or so ago ( https://piefed.blahaj.zone/c/asklemmy@piefed.blahaj.zone/p/982397/have-you-ever-encountered-large-carnivores-in-the-wild ) in which I referenced a book I was reading. It gave me insight. It blew away my prejudice towards hunters. I’m trying to eat as little meat as possible because of how we treat industrially produced animals, but this book taught me, showed me, how much reverence and respect most hunters have towards their pray.

Do you have any epic pictures to share?

I don’t follow the news. What happened? Why is there accountability in the USA now?

Yeah cuz like you really don’t wanna be there, but to wanna be kind and also flex your skills. It’s… Complicated.

DietPi, anyone? 🥹

Thanks! I did end up setting the X and Y measurements. It’s just too bad that my scanners scanning points do not start exactly in the corner of the scanner. It was a somewhat cheapo scanner, so I guess I got what I paid for.

Thanks! I ended up just using a ruler to measure the dimensions and setting -x and -y.
