  • That’s not very fair, the US also promised Ukraine protection if they’d removed their nukes in the 90s…

    FYI

When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Ukraine had the world’s third largest nuclear arsenal on its territory. When Ukrainian-Russian negotiations on removing these weapons from Ukraine appeared to break down in September 1993, the U.S. government engaged in a trilateral process with Ukraine and Russia. The result was the Trilateral Statement, signed in January 1994, under which Ukraine agreed to transfer the nuclear warheads to Russia for elimination. In return, Ukraine received security assurances from the United States, Russia and Britain; compensation for the economic value of the highly-enriched uranium in the warheads (which could be blended down and converted into fuel for nuclear reactors); and assistance from the United States in dismantling the missiles, missile silos, bombers and nuclear infrastructure on its territory.

  • Russia has started up a war economy, scaling up production of weapons, tanks, etc.

Putin probably waits untill Trump destroys NATO and is just taking his time to prepare.

The only reason Ukraine has been holding on for this long is because all the stuff they got from the US and EU. If that stops it’s not going to last long.

Pete Hegseth already completely fucked Ukraine by saying they need to give up on joining NATO and just accept that Russia can keep all the occupied areas. It’s like the Trump administration just wants to kiss Putin’s ass.

  • For me definitely steps, I walk 5000 steps on a work day, when I actually have time off its more like 10K steps. I would stop working and just walk with my dog for an full hour every day. Combine that with normal daily stuff I’ll definitely get 10K steps (2500 euros/dollars) every day. That’s almost a million a year.

  • I’m fairly sure Microsoft is actively trying to screw Firefox. Outlook has always sucked in Firefox, teams is a shit show. When you use a useragent switcher somehow a lot of features seem to work magically in Firefox (which tells me MS is doing this on purpose).

For Outlook (exchange) I use Thunderbird with a paid plug-in (to make the 2FA stuff work). It’s pretty cheap and totally worth it for me at least.

  • A while ago I came to the conclusion that a Casio G-Shock is the best watch. They don’t have to be expensive, a good one will sync the time multiple times a day, so it’s always accurate. A good one also has small solar panels in the watch face, so the battery will never be empty, and all of them are really build to last.

From a pure functional perspective I think it’s the best watch ever made. It basically tells you the correct time, always.
