I’m ootl on this one. What happened?
Yeah if the dentist makes you wait for 20 minutes, you definitely should have the right not to see him
What about the Linux development vm built into Chrome os? It seems ok
It leads to low quality communities banning people who downvote their posts, artificially inflating their engagement metrics
Why does Nvidia need to support night light? Can’t someone from Wayland just write a simple shader in any shader language that does colour adjustments and apply it to the desktop?
Thanks for the interesting write up! Why does Nvidia have to “adopt” Wayland? Is it not just fundamentally drawing some textures into some rectangles?
It’s unclear. If they’re a trans person fleeing the US, they could still pass the border normally for now.

What do you mean? Isn’t The Boring Company the one that makes tunnels?
Is your friendship close enough that you could just mention some of the behaviour you’ve observed and ask what’s up?
What makes you say that?
Doesn’t low blood sugar make you pass out?
On desktop, questions like how to make an accessible input element are handled by your widget toolkit. Why does the browser need to handle every question itself? Let the qt or gtk or whatever folks answer the question of how to create an accessible input element. Split the scope and investment among many players which individually don’t need as much funding and can innovate more quickly.
With webassembly and webgl, why do browsers need to evolve? If you want some feature the browser doesn’t provide, just make it yourself and draw it onto the canvas. x86 assembly gets occasional performance improving instructions but fundamally it’s existed for 50 years and can continue to support all modern programs. X11 survived for 40 years before any talk of a replacement really appeared. Why can’t Chrome be maintenance only for 40 years and let apps and websites innovate on top of its primitives?
You’re right, this does seem suspicious. It was probably all staged by that guy.
