I really want to transition to Linux but the dual boot issues that risk bricking my windows installation (I really have to use for work and for gaming) really put me off… Is it even fixable? I think you’re right but my only issue is permanently loosing contact with old friends from different countries… If there’s a change of phone numbers then I might not be able to contact them ever again…

Sorry I’m not really adding to the question but we need alternatives for a lot of apps… Fb, Instagram, WhatsApp,etc it’s impossible for me to ditch them all without loosing contact with friends/family… any other threads going on about this?
