It’s one carton of milk Michael, what could it cost? $20?
Page 2, line 8: “Plaintiffs are content created…”
Presumably it should be content creators, not created
So then it’s ok to make outright offensive claims like homosexuality is a mental illness or that we should go back to enslaving people of color, as long as I don’t spam it in a community? It seems like you all didn’t actually think through the consequences of your policy, because that’s an absolutely unacceptable position to take on moderating bigotry.
My name’s not bean :(
Honestly? Easiest method is to do a fresh install. I use Windows LTSC which essentially skips all the bloat and spyware in consumer versions of Windows.
If a fresh reinstall isn’t viable, there’s a collection of batch scripts someone built a while ago called Tron (it fights for the user!). It does a lot of diagnostics, repair, debloat, and optimization, but takes a long time to run.
As others have said, I use it mainly for the search function to start programs as well as many shortcuts. I’ve seen others mention screenshots and locking, but here are a few more:
A full list can be found here: windows key shortcuts
For me, it was about being able to watch yt on my tv and mobile devices which are not able to block ads as easily as a desktop browser. I have a pihole on my home network, but it hasn’t been able to block yt ads for a few years.
This is so immensely disappointing
Besides the common stuff, I would add an extra set of arms. Who couldn’t use 4 arms?
There’s a few 3rd party solutions that are compatible with Google’s find my device coming out this year. Pebblebee just released a few trackers, and iirc chipolo is working on one too.
That is what the Ad Nauseum extension does: “AdNauseam works to complete the cycle by automating ad clicks universally and blindly on behalf of its users. Built atop uBlock Origin, AdNauseam quietly clicks on every blocked ad, registering a visit on ad networks’ databases. As the collected data gathered shows an omnivorous click-stream, user tracking, targeting and surveillance become futile.”
I don’t think I’ve ever heard that fastener called an Allen bolt, just the tool (Allen key). I’ve generally heard them called hex sockets heads. Maybe it’s a regional thing?
Ditto. I left during the api stuff, but left my account in case they calmed down and realized it was stupid. The whole ‘selling data for ai training’ and actually filing for an ipo is what actually drove me to delete my 15 year old account today
Some websites intentionally change behavior based on your user agent. There are plenty of extensions for Firefox that let you change it so sites think you’re using chrome instead. It’s wild to me that’s even a thing, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Tron does a decent job of scrubbing it
Generally agree on tools except for stuff that needs to work in an emergency even if you don’t use it frequently, or stuff that can pose serious safety hazards if it fails.
My understanding is that most cheap tool brands save costs in QA and material choices (e.g. lower quality steel), which is what leads to things like the harbor freight jack stand recall.
While many weather apps use published NOAA/NWS data, there’s no official app. Not sure who you’re paying lol
