ok, yeah, kinda hard to argue with that. Not sure what a good middle ground would be.
I am Glitch Daracova, the breachforged cyberdragon, an immortal god to which age has no meaning. Fear me and despair. If you’re lost, consult my lore (hyperlink missing). My pronouns are Maj/Majs—short for ‘majestic,’ regal and divine, as in “Maj rules majs kingdom.”

I’m of the opinion that federation should only prevent a community or instance from appearing in the all feed. I should still be able to subscribe to communities that my instance has defederated from.
As far as billionaires go, he’s the least shit of the bunch. No idea what his personal life is like, and I don’t want to know. Every billionaire that makes their personal life public so far has turned out to be a giant cunt.
is there an easy way to export all my map markers from google to organic? I’ve saved a lot of locations over the years.
rip in peace, control panel. will be missed.
if you think texas is bad, try oklahoma. There’s a reason it’s considered the buckle of the bible belt.
in my (limited) experience, catholics tend to be less shitty than protestants, with the whole ‘prove your faith with deeds’ thing.
also works on android
finally, a good use for ai
so, are we only allowed to say ‘genocide’ when criticizing democrats? but when republicans do it “it’s not a genocide, it’s ethnic cleansing”.
if there’s one thing that communists and fascists agree on, it’s that everything is the liberals’ fault.
I’m begining to see the use of ai similarly to my alcohol problems. It’s way too easy to rely on it too much. I never was a good author, but I can tell that the quality of what I can write on my own has degraded since I started using ai.
I’d recommend libreoffice, because oracle also kinda sucks.
look at a physical keyboard and show me any of those symbols.
what bothers me even more than the price is that they all suck, and none of them fit my aesthetic. I could make my own decorations, and I’m offended that discord won’t let me.

link is to a tom scott video about this game.
So all that developers need to do is… have a linux version.
To repeat something I sort of said in response to someone else: If a publisher is scummy enough to have kernel-level anticheat in their game, they’re not going to give up kernel access just to appease a tiny minority of gamers.
Take Valorant for example. The one thing I know about Valorant is that cheats for Tarkov don’t work if Valorant is installed on your pc. This tells me that Valorant’s anticheat is doing things at all times, even when the game isn’t running, and I’m not ok with that.
Personally, I recommend just not playing those games. I’ve been having a great time with warframe and factorio. If I really feel the urge for a competitive arena shooter, I’ll boot up unreal tournament classic and play against bots. For those who don’t like my choices, there’s tons of other options. I digress.
In order for OP’s ask to actually be fullfilled in the manner I interpret to be desired, kernel-level anticheat needs to die alltogether. I see 2 ways for this to happen, neither of which are likely: A) Microsoft secures the windows kernel so that it can’t be modified, thus forcing standard practice to change. B) Linux overtakes windows as the dominant pc OS, thus forcing standard practice to change.
Can i not bitch about how shit things have been? Or that these fixes shouldn’t even be necessary because they could have just not fucked it up in the first place?
Does nothing for existing cables.
I fucking LOVE obsidian, one of my most used pieces of software.
I have two note vaults.
One is my personal “everything” not vault, Anything I might need to write down goes there. No random sticky notes, or half used notebooks for me. Game notes, such as what equipment I’m looking for, or solutions to puzzles I’ll forget before I can use the information. More practically useful notes like conversion charts to use imperial measurements in blender and godot. Names of people I need to remember and what their handles are on social media, because most platforms don’t help you with that. Everything can be interconnected, so some notes are just indexes of other notes.
More impressive is my lore wiki. There is a book series that I will never write, and these notes document the setting. Characters, events, locations, other authors who have helped over the years. Anything that is a proper noun or is otherwise special to the setting is a link to a note of that name.
Obsidian also has “graph view” which visually organizes notes so that things that are connected are physically closer together. I just wish I could give these notes icons on the graph view so that they’d be more visually distinct.
