  • well it’s nothing more than a minimalist lemmy reader at the moment with markdown rendering, replying, up/down etc. just the stuff you need when you’re doing your daily scroll.

i do use it daily and rarely have to use another app to do something but it’s by no means full featured. the one thing i would say is that when rendering long posts with 100s of comments is,… it’s blazingly fast :)

  • i just transitioned from a dedicated pfsense machine to openwrt LXC container in proxmox machine

the idea is to have 2 or more openwrt instances in different proxmox machines for some HA routing to my self hosted subnet(s)

going well so far and i think i know a lot more about routing (ha). openwrt is pretty great though.

ps. i think i’m having issues with udp port forwarding but not sure

    that sounds terrible

yes bazzite does have a specific command to install stuff (like all other distros)

yes bazzite is atomic so the os changes are managed differently, the standard linux hacks in Arch wiki won’t work but might help you debug the problem

if you really need to use NTFS or Bazzite doesn’t work with your hardware then go for something else. i’m a big ZFS fan but Bazzite don’t work with that so i have other ways of using my ZFS drives.

those stupid limitations have given me a very stable and fast experience with my AMD/Nvidia laptop, but that’s just my individual story
