They still don’t really know why 9/11 happened, they still believe the ‘they hate us for our freedoms’ line.

He’s had shitty cards this whole time, but he played them as well as you could reasonably expect. In the past he’s been able to placate Trump, but I guess now his ask was just too big. Now he basically has to hope Europe continues support (at least for long enough to have a deal that doesn’t completely split the country).
Yeah, not sure when this trend started, but having to install a new driver to make a new game work seemed like the wrong way to go about it.
I still don’t understand how so many people can vote for obvious con men like this.
I’m amazed it didn’t break apart even inverted. That’s lucky.
Yeah, and the way it will confidently give you a wrong answer instead of either asking for more information or saying it just doesn’t know is equally annoying.
It’s only useful for stuff that’s been done a million times before in my experience. As soon as you do anything outside of that, it just starts hallucinating.
It’s basically like how junior devs used to go to stack overflow, grabbed whatever code looked like it would work and just plopped it in the codebase.
The WiFi gets confused after suspend as well. After like 5 times I have to force a reboot because the connection keeps resetting.
This is the IDF, they routinely shoot women, children and the elderly for sport. There’s a reason they didn’t ratify the Rome statute.
It was pretty obvious to me…
They were designed to be only used for the administration of social security. Since they were sending monthly checks, they needed a way to know that the person going to the office and saying their address changed was who they said they were. This was at a time before driver’s licences were common and they didn’t have any other type of ID, and there were just a lot fewer people.
Later on the SSN started to be used by banks and other entities even though it was never meant for that, and the risks associated with the relatively insecure design just compounded, because instead of just fraudulently claiming someone else’s social security checks (which, unless the target died, would probably be figured out within a month), it opened up all sorts of extra avenues for fraud.
Linux was also the only way to make sure Valve was viable long term. Eventually Windows was going to have an Xbox store built in and would’ve basically been a monopoly on PC gaming, cutting out steam altogether. I think windows now sort of does have that, but it can’t compete with Steam quite yet.
Yeah, the flaw there is that money can flow into and out of the stock market basically instantly, so you always have to manage their expectations to make sure your price doesn’t crash.
I’ve got a whole bunch of free games on my epic account and I’ve never even bothered to try to figure out how to install them.
Elon is also thinking about the children, in particular how they should all be white.
Yeah, how do you compare a 16yo (or however old she is now) girl with no political office to the president of the United States?
I guess we can hope Trump ends up being as ineffective as she’s unfortunately been (I also noticed she’s been invisible in the mainstream media as soon as she started talking about Palestine. Same with Malala.).
Yeah, I never really got why everyone jumped at Kanye for that in particular. The response to Katrina was ridiculous and there were plenty of instances where black people were left to fend for themselves, or worse, accused of ‘looting’ when they tried to go out and find food in stores that closed down after days of seeing nothing from the government.
Obviously, everything that happened after is indefensible.
Yeah, and you’d think it was on purpose, there’s not a lot else in the area that could be a plausible target.
Essentially blowback for decades of US military adventurism in the region. Bin Laden’s theory was that an attack that’s big enough would cause the US government to overreact and overreach, imploding the American Empire because Americans wouldn’t accept their civil liberties being taken away and Americans coming back from abroad in coffins.
Obviously Bin Laden was wrong about how much Americans would just be ok with everything the government ended up doing, and didn’t achieve his stated goal.
