Good to know it now becomes a good thing since the US is getting something out of it, great line in the sand.
Github README says plugin support especially DeDRM is highest priority on the roadmap so not yet it seems but soon
In the CNET video below it looks like a different home screen and everything you launch into, it doesn’t just switch to monochrome and both articles claim massive battery life gains when in eink mode meaning it’s not just LED but curious to know more and keep an eye out
This is launching at the perfect time. not only do I still have my pebble time within reach of they resurrect those with new firmware and the like. But my Fossil Hybrid I’ve been using as a pebble replacement for the last 5 years just went EOL and they’re not making new ones.
Found my way to that from other mentions of OSMC and gonna order one of those in the coming weeks. Been looking for an alternative to my Roku Ultra for a while.
Edit: searching more I see Vero V forum posts from this year about things like Netflix and Amazon limiting streaming to 1080p or lower, and YouTube being a lethargic experience. Will save it and probably go the Nvidia shield route for now.
I just got an LG C3 and don’t have it connected to the network. I also turned off the fast input and power on and takes maybe 10 seconds to boot into the input. Not much longer than my blu ray player and receiver.
I’ve been using EndeavourOS for a little over a year now and maybe only twice have hit issues with updates or packages or whatever. Their built in update script helps a lot. I will also say I have an RTX 3080 and fedora wouldn’t run games on my setup, EndeavourOS would.
I run EndeavourOS and have to restart after my computer falls asleep. Have the thing set to 4 hours or whatever before sleep but sometimes it happens.
They’re trying to modify certain portions of the rules and modernize them but each league implements them differently and at the end of the day the refs are treated as unquestionable and untouchable even when they say they made mistakes despite tech and camera angles given to them. Which is fine but there needs to be more things like video assistants saying that was a dive give a yellow but they don’t do that still.
He’s not completely wrong, sure the story has been done a ton because it’s a solid and engaging tale to learn about a new world/culture. Also the technological portion of the movie used several new methods and cameras for the first time in a theater and introduced so many methods that are in use today.
Sexual Assault I assume.
When I first started self hosting in 2018 I didn’t know about how PFsense handled themselves and got a netgate appliance and used it up until 2 years ago and it ran great. Not a bad recommendation by any means but also understand expectations and opinions shift.
I too use the singular container from imagegenius and point it at a DB and redis. Usually their upgrade paths mention several components but I’ve only ever used the one.
Surprised android hasn’t had this since lollipop
The way it is written was like only vault warden is self host able and usually VW is mentioned more in forums when the actual official stack that gets regular updates and security reviews is available to host so I always like to point that out so more people use it instead of the knock off though it does have it’s use cases.
I’m in the US so no Sony option but I had to stay away from Asus with their terrible update support/longevity and bootloader unlocking support. Samsung is similar on the latter portion, Motorola is bad on the former but may have to revisit their stance on bootloader unlocking for ROM support.
I was responding to a comment about bitwarden being paid while vaultwarden is self hosted. I’ve been self hosting bitwarden for years and pay $20 a year for the subscription to do so and support them. Is the self hosted option not paid like the comment I replied to says?
I’ve had mine a little over a year and still love it. Just got android 15 in January though my battery is starting to feel it a bit, won’t last over a day on an 80% charge but that’s still plenty. Love the OS and I use the glyphs quite a lot.
