I hope to see this before the EoL date set for Windows 10 and a bunch of people throw out perfectly good machines to buy something that works with Windows 11.

Personally, I won’t use Windows 11 on my home machines. But my concern is that I install a distro this year and want to switch to SteamOS later, but would have to start over with customizations, etc. in the new distro. I wish SteamOS was available now for gaming rigs!

They’re just gonna sit around and wait a few months until they are begged to come back and can demand more compensation. The current generative AI, which is not general AI, will not be able to replace high functioning jobs. Eventually, a lot of those software engineers will be asked back and get much more for their services.

Considering I’ve never used TikTok or joined it, I was diagnosed in 2022 (or so, I don’t remember), after almost 40 years of life. So much of my past, pre- and post-internet era, started to make sense when I learned that ADHD has an inattentive side that lacks the hyperactivity.

It’s not that the diagnosis of and has exploded due to “X cause,” but like autism, we have increased identification for them or categorize behaviors differently.

Invest in Google. Buy an island. Install automated turrets. Don’t worry about saving for retirement, cause it won’t matter when society collapses.
