0·2 months agoWhat you did to PugJesus was textbook cyber bullying. People have committed suicide over less. Deny it all you want or pretend it was a reasonable response to him being mean to you. You cannot change that. Plus, damn it was clearly a lot of effort, and in that way quite sad.
So is what PugJesus was/is doing to various other users. I gave him a taste of his own medicine.
You like to harp on my modlog. Two possibilities there. One, you really believe that most mod decisions are a good indication of “bad” in general. Or two, you need an easy gotcha. I’m gonna say it’s the latter.
No. I like to point out your modlog because people can see the things that were removed and make their own decisions. The reason for removal are less important than what was removed. Considering that everything you had removed was wildly toxic, it is for that reason. Not the ‘easy gotcha’.
I’d much rather be toxic by just saying mean words as a reaction to bad behavior than be a completely self unaware cyber bullying bigot.

Pretend that my lashing out is comparable or worse than the bile, hatred, etc I was writing about here but that’s just you needing to justify your poor behavior.
You have 14 pages on your modlog of you committing hate speech. Something that you’re aware of given you keep trying to dismiss an evidence log of your own behavior by saying
think you can spin a modlog into a story like that.

0·2 months agoWhich is what their post to YPTB was about. Mixed reactions.
If it was just a small user that hadn’t been causing a lot of trouble, then yeah. I’d agree on the power tripping. But they have 13 pages on their modlog. 12 of those pages were before I banned them. You can go ahead and check it yourself. This isn’t just some random person but a 3 year old account who has an extremely long list of acerbic and antagonistic behavior. At that point, in my opinion, it is protecting people.

1·2 months agoOne user even made a very in depth audio recording talking several minutes of shit about a top poster here and you’ll never guess what happened when I called that out as shitty! Banned in several communities and toxic comments galore. How dare I come on on my high horse to point out how childish and shitty that was.
That’s not what happened.
First, you neglected to point out that was in response to a different top poster, one far more recognizable than me, banning me from a community due to me saying something about him on matrix. A level of narcissism that I found amusing and decided to poke him at the same time as making the post. You commented about it at the time.
This is your comment from that post.

After you repeatedly stirring things up for MONTHS and causing trouble, with a mile long modlog demonstrating your own insane level of toxicity, I spoke with other moderators either part of my communities or not. I then decided to ban you from my communities to prevent you from adding more to it all. You posted something to YePowerTrippingBastards about it where the general conclusion was that you fucked around and found out due to months and months of toxic behavior from you, again all listed and proven in your modlog.

So lets circle back to your original complaint.

Nah. You were banned from several communities by myself and others due to your own behavior and you provided your own toxic comments.
You complain about the toxicity of this place but do everything you can to add to it yourself.

Now you’re cooking with gas

2·1 year agoTotally valid. The AWE DLC is the only one I didn’t fully complete. I wasn’t as into Alan Wake at the time (although AW2 fucking changed that). I own the ultimate edition on PC now anyway (originally started on PS4) so I might as well. Sam Lake is my gaming development god…

18·1 year agoAMAZING game. The Dead Letters department might be my favorite section of The Oldest House
It’s really nice being able to post queer memes here on Lemmy because even the cishet people get it and laugh with us. Everyone gets representation. Hell fucking yeah. I mean I do go a bit overboard sometimes with the gay but I’ll catch a husband someday.
Well I got a new tablet wallpaper
That I will take <3
Bah. I just spit out content that I’ve got saved from other people. I don’t do shit otherwise. Well, other than look for BG3 players and stuff but that’s about it. Thank you but way too kind lol
I was sold from the sets. The fact that the fonts and everything looked goddamn identical had me enthralled. When every single camera angle started to make me think of the cinematic killshots or every tiny thing carried over from the games like NPCs that don’t talk to you or clipping into the floor or the deep psychological horror combined with goddamn near whimsy?
I was fucking stunned. I was watching the pilot with a friend I met here on Lemmy and he can attest to it. I didn’t shut the fuck up the entire time throughout the episode because I kept just cackling. @Robolemmy@lemmy.dbzer0.com can confirm lol
This is why I choose ‘Fiduciary Responsibility’ as my safeword.
That Fallout show was really good. I can’t believe It took until this week for me to watch it.
Considering the fact that like… I barely talk with anyone from Lemmy? Accurate. I’ll send messages to people because I’m either bored or lonely and we hit it off with some comments or something and everytime the reaction is just “Wait why are you messaging me?” and it’s like “No one ever messages me first.” I don’t know why. I adore it when a user joins lemmy and sees my username, reaches out, and then asks for a couple times. A few people have done that, a few sticking around too like IninewCrow, and it’s one of the few times that I feel like a user too and not just a poster. Was really fucking weird at the start when I was commenting in other peoples posts and having reactions like “STAMETS KNOWS WHO I AM” and like… I do use this website too. So when there’s a dude on Lemmy who I’ve had a good connection with who is going through HELL I’m going to try and use the position that I’ve apparently got to try and help him out just a little bit. Not constantly and not spamming it on every post today, but a couple times to hopefully bring some attention to it and help him out. Even if it’s just a tiny bit then I did something and I can stop hating myself quite as much.
Oh I’ve been around on lemmy for a couple years now and trolls like that aren’t exactly a threat. I don’t mean to sound full of myself, but I just post way too often for them to even noticed anymore. I usually get sent screenshots or links on Matrix/Discord like “LOL did you see this?” to which I definitely did not. Was just hard to ignore every single post having a single comment on it, something that isn’t really that typical for Lemmy. Especially not that quickly. I keep an eye on general trends of things. If people don’t like a thing I stop posting the thing. But individual children screaming into the night? Meh. All I see in my head is just a giant filter with [REDDITOR] written over it half the time.
But.
Even if I did give the remotest of a shit about a toddler, I don’t care about this circumstance. I post a lot and I made a deal to myself that I’d take two rounds of posting and add in a link to Aeronmelons post. He made it a week ago and didn’t get a ton of attention. That combined with a ko-fi issue meant that things weren’t super awesome for him. So I wanted to boost it again a little bit. Bump the thread. He’s going through hell right now and I went through something similar but far less brutal. I’ll do a lot for my friends and this? Isn’t much. So even if I did care about people getting angry at me on the internet, I don’t care when it means that there is a chance to help him. WELL worth the trade off, as far as I’m concerned. I’d gladly do it again.
Doing nothing is easier and might make people happier but doesn’t get anything done. If I piss off a few people then oh well. I’m sorry for that. Hope they forgive me. But I’m not sorry I did it. I hope they can understand that, even if they don’t respect or agree with it.

162·1 year agoThey’re commenting on the text that I made to two rounds of post trying to help a friend escape an abusive relationship. They’re quite angry about it and, in yelling at me for spamming it, has resorted to spamming the same comment over and over again on every post I’ve made.

As stated in that audioclip, it has nothing to do with me. It has everything to do with him being incapable of not having the final say. It’s a typical narcissist trait and one of the more boring. He’s not doing it because “he knows” anything. It’s a symptom and he can’t help himself lol
