But for long-distance trips, that doesn’t really hold up until we get battery capacities vastly superior to those of today. For countries with workers that have vacations, we like to go places other than home or work, sometimes. 😅

Reminds me of when I was in University and catching up with some lab work over the summer to get a passing grade. Was doing some 3D programming assignment and I spent I think 5 weeks debugging my stuff.

Turns out I needed to transpose two adjacent lines of code. No syntax errors, no runtime errors, just graphics pipeline not outputting what I expected. Was a nightmare. And not even satisfying to figure it out.

Yeah, for scripts that should be the norm. It really helps with legibility and maintainability, not having to have the manual open for 5 programs while tweaking stuff. 👌

Edit: tried it. Looks cool, very nice app. Although the frame rate of pulling comments, specifically comments only, is very low. Posts are fine, but comments lag visibly, not sure why.

I know right. I was offered a job at a betting site and online casino with those addictive games and shit. Gave that a hard pass, said no thanks, don’t think that’s the right business area for me. I would feel so dirty going to and coming from work every damn day.

It’s still sad to see the development. We’re allowed to mourn things that happened long ago, you know.
