Sorry, not with the Linux movement yet due to being poor and can’t afford a hard drive at the moment 😞
Anyway.
Recently ran into a thing with Waterfox where I needed it to load & refresh pages in a time-sensitive application for an event I was participating in, but Waterfox was just struggling. Ended up missing slots for said event, and I’m really annoyed.
I really don’t want to use Brave, but it’s the only browser not in beta that is considered “Private” (would love to go back to Cromite if it wasn’t MIA).
Any suggestions?
If you really, really need to go down the wrong path, vivaldi is most likely the best choice
brave is gross
why Vivaldi, not Brave?
I like Helium as a chromium based browser for PC
When a site just won’t cooperate on anything Firefox-based, Vivaldi is my Chromium poison of choice. It also has good privacy features and customization, without the toxic project runners of Brave.
Have a look at Ungoogled Chromium, it’s Chromium with all the Google functions removed.
Vivaldi is probably your best choice, but I personally use ungoogled-chromium.
Maybe faking the user agent would help? There are extensions for reporting to sites you are using different browsers.
Alternatively, if you don’t want the browser to monitor everything in the PC, maybe install on a virtual machine?
vanadium also works on non-graphine os
https://github.com/GrapheneOS/Vanadium/releases/tag/156.0.8078.79.0
Vanadium isn’t yet officially available for users outside GrapheneOS, although we plan to do that eventually.
Release from 3 days ago
i dont have graphine os and vandium works fine , ik its not official version
Titanium is based on Vanadium anyway. It already basically is an unofficial version of Vanadium with extension support.
Titanium is a good one. Works with extensions and is updated regularly.
open source alternative like fennec and vanadium are likely to be your friends here.
