I’m bored… The world feels flat for a 2020 release (especially after games like GTA V and red dead, hell even assassin’s creed, the RPG ones) and I don’t like the characters, I can’t even remember their names, I didn’t cared when the big guy died, apparently it was a big moment for the people that played this and I’m like 🤷🏽 whatever…

Going back to Tekken and WWE 2k

I think that’s fine, it’s not for everyone. Gaming has this weird thing that we all have to agree that this game is amazing and this one is trash. I don’t like that way of thinking. Does everyone like the same movies or books?

Personally I love Cyberpunk, it’s probably the second best game I’ve ever played in my book (behind RDR2). I think it’s incredibly involved, I love getting lost in the world.

That’s me though. Personally I don’t like Tekken or WWE. I just don’t find any joy in them. That doesn’t mean they’re bad, they’re just not my style.

So, enjoy what you enjoy! Don’t feel bad for liking something or not liking it! People are weird, and we like different things. As long as you aren’t bashing on people who do like something, we’re all good.

Now I’m going to go back to playing Cities Skylines 2…

I think cyberpunk is bad though. Way below of what those dudes promised, it was so bad that they had to change the marketing (oh is not an RPG!, is a open world action game now) even they knew the game felt short. The fact a game like GTA V and RDR2 feels more like an RPG says it all

Seriously the RPG mechanic feel so undercooked. Are almost annoying and yet imperceptible

You realise nobody is forced to feel the way you do right? Also, I’m sorry but there’s so much objectively trash and mediocre media… You CAN say that a book, movie or game is trash.

How the hell is saying that an attack? Please don’t be a crystal people you too, not agreeing doesn’t equal being hostile. Understand that.

Their entire post seems to have been made to argue. Luckily Lemmy isn’t reddit, some may argue but a lot of people here are friendly, the mud slinging seems like a waste of time to me.

Edit - happy first comment! Glad you’re here with us!

What’s your problem? You act like I’m insulting you or something, I didn’t do shit to you. I’m just explaining why your previous comment is not accurate that’s it.

You come off as antagonistic. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you genuinely aren’t trying to, but the way you are writing is in a way that feels like you’re picking a fight, which I have no interest in.

Take this last comment. “What’s your problem” is extremely antagonistic. “I didn’t do shit to you” is another example. You aren’t just explaining, that’s the frustrating point. Your point is valid and we could have had an interesting conversation about it, but the way it feels like you want to just argue and the jabs at me make me not want to interact with you.

So, this is a friendly response explaining how I felt when reading your comments. Looking at the votes, I’m not the only one. I’d love to have good conversations, but not arguing. So when I see it, I just ignore it.

Because you’re pissing me off now, that’s why. And I don’t care about a worthless vote. “I didn’t do shit to you” is a perfectly legitimate and valid answer. If somebody says that to me I would be like “ok you good” or whatever, I wouldn’t feel that as an attack like wtf?

Like I just explained why cyberpunk sucks and you acted like I insulted you, common man…
