Considering that I only play a single game it then seems like I’ve going to be spending a lot more time in Chernarus. I hope the ability to respawn was part of the deal - otherwise I’m screwed.
There is always a well-known solution to every human problem - neat, plausible, and wrong.

It’s censorship even when you self-censor your own speech.
You’re probably mixing this up with free speech which only defends you against prosecution for what you said but it doesn’t entitle you to get a platform to say it. Social media platform kicking you out because they don’t like your commentary is not infringing on your freedom of speech.

You are the only common denominator between all those accounts that have gotten banned. I don’t shy away from voicing unpopular opinions either, yet I virtually never get banned or even have my messages removed. It’s usually not about what you say, but how you say it.
Here’s my consumption for this year. 90m², 100 litre electric water heater and heatpump for heating the house. I only reach that 60kWh consumption in december to february when it’s -15°C outside.

We have one plug in oil filled heater outside in the detached storage / workshop area.
See that spike in the electricity consumption recently? It’s the day I was running a single 2kW electric heater in my carage while working on my truck.

Where I live we don’t have mega-wealthy people like in the US but broadly speaking you can’t usually tell a rich person from a middle-class one. I have a handful of wealthy customers but they live in houses that are only marginally larger than the other ones in those neighbourhoods and they tend to drive the same cars as everyone else too. Not uncommon for one to change winter/summer tires themselves on the driveway instead of having someone else do it for them.
There’s one owner of a big company that hangs in the same boating circles as my parents and you simply could not tell that they’re wealthy if you didn’t know. They don’t have the biggest and nicest boat and they just perfectly blend in there with everyone else.
I think culture plays a role here just as much as being wealthy does. Displaying your wealth simply isn’t as much of a thing here. The people who do that are usually the ones who just pretend to be ones but actually aren’t. Most would just feel embarrassed standing out.

This is for sealing gaps, not doing large areas. You take a board of insulation, cut it a little smaller than the gap you put it in and then with this you seal the edges and glue it in place. It’s completely different than the expanding foam you’ve possibly seen people spraying between joists on YouTube. This is more like a caulk gun.

The current bottle has been attached to my foam gun for well over a year. I only need a little bit every few months or so. After use I just close it and clean the tip. Previously I always removed the bottle and cleaned the gun after each use and they’ll stop working in less than 6 months.
Much of it is just deeply strange to me. I haven’t had the gradual exposure to normalize what kind of content people put up so when I do stumble upon it I just get this uncanny feeling almost like the other people are trying to gaslight me into thinking this is normal.

Different argument. The implicit narrative here is that the rich don’t pay taxes when in reality they pay almost all the taxes. If you want them to pay even more then that’s fair but the reality is that most people don’t have the faintest clue what the actual numbers are to begin with.

Top 1% in the US pays 40% of all income tax and top 10% pays 70% while the bottom 50% pays 3.3%

Seems to have more to do with China than AI per-se considering that TSMC, Samsung and SK Hynix are unaffected.

What I most often hear recommended as the single most effective way to donate is to an organization that buys bed-nets to africa to protect people from malaria. What’s the problem with that?
What do you think they donate to?

For me it’s always been a way to donate based on reason rather than emotions. I never quite figured out why it has this dark, cultish reputation among the people who for some reason oppose it.

You can hold the tip of your finger on the upper one and can thus control the flow by blocking the airflow.
I do this when putting it onto wings. This way I can apply it individually rather than splashing it all over.
Potenttially but not everyone is in prison for violent crime and I’m not sure who wants to live in a place where something like that is forced upon people.
