Yeah, that makes sense. I guess the difference is that you don’t typically see the shape of a string as it vibrates, as opposed to seeing a whip move.

I have no strong feelings one way or the other.
Considering it’s an acronym for Graphics Interchange Rasterization And Formatting Format Enhancement, it’s pronounced giraffe.
Your expectations of other people are unreasonable. Sometimes people intend to do something and they get behind, or maybe they change their mind. In any case, nobody on this project owes you anything, even if you put in… [checks post text] less than two weeks of effort.
Hanging out for twelve days, then posting videos “calling people out” is a dick move, and you earned your ban. It seems like you were looking for reasons to cause drama, but I’ll leave your intentions for you to decide. Spend some time reflecting and trying to see things from their perspective.
There are a lot of different ways to package and publish an APK. If it’s done through the Google Play store, it almost definitely won’t look like a local debug or release build (Google does a lot of things to optimize for different devices).
The best way to check their work is to download the tools and try building it, and see if it’s functionally similar.
It’s not dumb to feel sad about it. Enshittification is sad, especially when you see it from the inside.
I’m not sure about the focus on privacy, but DreamHost has been pretty reliable for me. I have my custom domain routed to Proton for email (got a two year plan before all the politics came out… blarg).
Still more accurate than “assume spherical cow”
Yeah, in Eternity, they show up as thumbnails and you have to click them to see them properly. Better than nothing, though!
Note that I’ve had some issues with images from some hosts not showing up, but the “big” ones (e.g., giphy) seem fine.
Any time I’ve tried uploading them, they are converted to jpg

For reference, the way to include an image is:

TIL Elon doesn’t know SQL or have any basic human decency.
J/K, I already knew he doesn’t have basic human decency.
If he knew anything about SQL, he could have run a quick search to see whether any SSNs are actually duplicated. (spoiler alert: they’re not, he’s just stupid).
Someone once told me that they thought the line in Uptown Funk was, “I’m too hot, hot ham!” and I’ve been hearing it that way ever since.
If you’re going fast enough for it to fly off, yeah leaving it on is a dick move.
As someone who lives in the midwest, I can confirm that people sometimes leave it on purpose for the extra weight, especially in vehicles like pickups and vans. Also you kinda just want to see what happens at that point.
Wait, this isn’t a shitpost
Out of the American big three, I have the most confidence in Ford. I’ve worked with engineers at all three, and the ones at Ford are the ones that I felt were most compitent.
That being said, my next car will probably be a Toyota or a Subaru. Both way better than the American OEMs.
They’re good for longevity, but they’re bad for quarterly profits. In the US, we care much more for the latter.
I work in the auto industry. Can confirm, Stellantis is in bad shape. I wouldn’t buy anything from them.
If you’re interested or curious about music theory (even if you don’t know much about it), I recommend Charles Cornell. Here’s one of him talking about Pure Imagination.
