. . . the white moderate who is more devoted to order than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says, “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can’t agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically feels that he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by the myth of time; and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a “more convenient season.” Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.

Oh God, that artwork. It’s even worse when you see it in motion!

The Dutch government and Royal Dutch Philips should officially apologize for the CD-i Zelda games.

I actually played that shit as a kid! Imagine my disappointment when the game we rented turned out to be an extremely shitty platformer! Also, good luck playing that abomination with the default remote/controller.

You should see Arzette: The Jewel of Faramor, it’s inspired by these games. The game play is polished, but they lean into the art style and strange characters.

        Lol, Seedy Eye Software.

That does look like a similar CD-i game, but it doesn’t quite replicate the nauseating perceptual horror of the constant zoom-in-and-out-like animations and the ridiculous, constantly fluctuating, proportions in the cutscenes.

I had a lot of fun with Arzette.

I’m hoping I can do it as a randomizer in Archipelago at some point in the future
