Side note: FRLG was peak. You don’t need to keep remaking Kanto. You are never going to recapture 90s era Pokémania.
Wouldn’t mind seeing mite Kanto though.
Or a new Kanto start where you can go to Johto instead of the other way around. A different era from the start from back in the 90s would be nice too.

That’s called emulators. And Nintendo HATES emulators. At least ones that they aren’t selling on their own console.
decomp/recomp ports run natively on pcs without an emulator (but you do have to supply your own rom). Ship of Harkinian is a good port of Ocarina of Time, I’m enjoying playing with mouse and keyboard.
