In his response to Fox he was in full deflection mode: ’ I don’t believe they did that badly after we did all those rallies with tens of thousands of supporters’

He can’t internalize it’s him that did this

But all the other presidents got unauthorized wars in the middle east!

Me, playing the bad enabler parent: Oh, come on, Cardboardboxfort. He’s just a baby. We should give him at least one little war.

Would you like that? Do you want a little war? Yes, you do! Yes, you do! Playfully shakes a long, wiggly rattle over your head moments before its other end bites you

No, hell blame the candidates and then do something outrageous to reclaim the narrative.

Honestly curious if he’s gonna try to declare martial law or some other crazy idiocy. Or if he’ll try to do some sort of wild shit with the outgoing congressional leaders around refusing to seat new legislators who flipped seats? Honestly, I wouldn’t put anything past them.

I’ll stop holding my breath after the new Congress and governors are actually seated, and after that new Congress and those new governors start doing things that actually buck the status quo ante. Tonight is a very good development, but it’s also still very far from a sure thing in terms of actual outcomes.

There’s a whole thing about him being a devotee of Roy Cohen and Norman Vincent Peele, who between the two taught him to never never, ever, under any circumstances, accept a loss or admit defeat. Whatever he does it will be as maximal as he is physically permitted to get.

They won’t block this when it has such obvious public support behind it. They’ll daydream about doing it and threaten it in a jokingly way but when push comes to shove theres nothing they can do.

Not much. The window for stealing elections is not completely closed, but if they decide to do so now instead of earlier it would be very stupid.
